Now whoever told me that Pune is cheap, forgot to inform that new parts of Pune is costlier than Bangalore :(
Finally I moved to Pune and starting the new job from today in Red Hat.
I came in between Ramki’s session on Python. It went well and he was not keen to give them lunch break :) Don’t remember when i slept, suddenly found my phone is ringing and Rahul is telling me to wake up and the all the attendees were looking at me :) Ramki was calling me from the first row, I was sitting in the last row.
After his talk Rahul gave a talk on Fedora project and how people can contribute to it, I wrote few lines about it in my last post.

RSS 2.0 specification can be found here. Looking into current file for Fedora TV, I was wondering whether we need both <pubDate> and <lastBuildDate> elements.
After doing little bit search, this looks nice answer. So, I modified the Fedora TV file into this.
I also updated my code to work with the new file structure.
Today Jonathan Roberts wrote about Fedora TV. Here is a small script to add video/audio item into an existing rss channel file. The code is not clean and without much error checking , it requires some item(s) to be already present in the file. Use it like
./tvitem -f fedora-tv.xml
It will ask input for Title, link , description and a local path to the file which will help it to calcualte the size of the file.
If you are in the above stated issue, please update publican to the latest version , better from svn. I have one rpm ready in case you need.
